Learning collaboratives to support Part A planning councils/planning bodies (PC/PB) in strengthening their member recruitment and retention activities. The group learning sessions were structured for PC/PB teams to participate virtually with the intention of integrating best practices into PC/PB work plans. This effort included peer-to-peer opportunities to share lessons learned, best and promising practices, and strategies to overcome challenges.
By the end of the learning collaborative, each implementation team:
- Developed a recruitment and retention strategy that prioritizes consumers and people of color.
- Assessed and determined which recruitment and retention activities can be integrated into their PC/PB’s work plans.
- Identified at least one recruitment or retention activity that can be implemented in the next three months.
