Description
Improving Hepatitis C surveillance can help RWHAP jurisdictions identify, monitor, and connect coinfected people with HIV to Hepatitis C (HCV) care and treatment. This panel will provide an opportunity to hear federal updates on Hepatitis C surveillance and learn about a data-to-care approach and overcoming surveillance data gaps.
Learning Objectives
- Describe the importance of HCV surveillance data for building an HCV cascade of care.
- Describe how collaboration between Hepatitis C and HIV surveillance systems can facilitate people with HIV and HCV and in need of HCV treatment to be identified, linked, and retained in care.
- Understand where to locate additional resources related to Hepatitis C surveillance data improvements.
