This institute will begin with an overview of the impact of trauma and chronic stress and then move into implementing trauma-informed principles, including the importance of staff and organizational health.

A week-long Service Learning Rotation was integrated into the third-year dental student curriculum; data analysis from this pilot year will be used for program quality improvement and modification.
