A decade of impact: The ACE TA Center's milestones and what’s new
In September 2013, JSI was funded by Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), HIV/AIDS Bureau (HAB), to establish the ACE TA Center with the goal of enrolling people with HIV into health coverage, many for the first time, following the passage of the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Over 10 years later, ACE continues to accomplish our goals through technical assistance (TA) strategies that include needs assessments, webinars, and the development and dissemination of best practices and supporting resources.
Throughout the year, we invite you to join ACE as we celebrate accomplishments, milestones, and new resources available for the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) community!
Did you know?
The ACE TA Center hosted its first webinar on Medicare eligibility and enrollment in April 2020. Since then, ACE has hosted webinars on Medicare coverage annually and in 2022, expanded the webinars into a series including Medicaid and Medicare-Medicaid dual eligibility.
To date, these webinars have had a total of 8,184 attendees - including RWHAP program managers, case managers, navigators, and other staff that conduct outreach, benefits counseling, and enrollment activities, as well as the recipient staff that support these programs.
