Purpose

Highlight the success of the ELEVATE program in building the capacity of people with HIV to be meaningfully involved in HIV Workforce and Planning Council/Planning Body Activities by highlighting an individual(s) who have participated in the ELEVATE training and then became involved in the HIV workforce or planning groups.

• Understand the relevance of ELEVATE’s commitment to community leadership.
• Summarize the presenter’s success story from the ELEVATE training.
• Identify opportunities to apply skills acquired through ELEVATE in their communities.
